F1 Canadian GP Qualifying LIVE: Qualifying session gets started: Alpine’s Fernando Alonso took home the first position in the FP3 session after his flying lap on the wet track as he was no match to the other drivers. Alpine’s Fernando Alonso had a great day in the office as he secured the first spot in the FP3 session after a great flying lap. He was followed by Pierre Gasly in the second spot and Sebastian Vettel, who is desperate for a good result under his belt finished third overall.

Alpine’s Esteban Ocon took home the fourth spot after having a great day out on the track. He was followed by Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris in the fifth and sixth spots. Mercedes’ George Russel took home the seventh position as he was followed by both the Red Bull drivers.

Sergio Perez took home the eighth spot as Max Verstappen had to settle for the ninth position overall. Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz had to settle for the tenth position as Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas took home the eleventh spot.

The rookie driver Guanyu Zhou had a great outing on a wet track as he secured the twelfth spot. Lance Stroll, who managed a top ten spot dropped positions as he secured the thirteenth place overall.

Haas’ Kevin Magnussen could only manage to take home the fourteenth spot and he was followed by Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in the fifteenth position. William’s Alex Albon could only manage a sixteenth place finish in the wet conditions as he was followed by Yuki Tsunoda in the seventeenth spot.

Mick Schumacher took home the eighteenth spot after dropping several positions and he was followed by William’s Nicholas Latifi in the nineteenth spot. Last but not the least, Charles Leclerc finished last as he was not able to register any flying laps in the FP3 session.
